Historic Treasures Building The Historic Treasures Exhibit offers a window into the past with a vast collection of displays illustrating the life, ingenuity and inventions of our Schoharie County forefathers. The museum includes a “barn” full of agricultural tools that in their time were very welcomed inventions as they saved time and labor working with livestock, and crops such as hops. You will see a threshing machine, the forerunner of today’s combine, and a 1936 Farmall tractor. Other displays include: shop tools, milking equipment, an outhouse, and an ice house. Another building holds items from homes and businesses, including clothes from the 1930’s & 40’s, vintage sewing machines, a model one-room school, a general store, and a tribute to local veterans. To name a few! Spend a while walking through the history of Schoharie County. Please visit the Historic Treasures building located behind the Grandstand.
